Quality & Pricing
Pricing is by hourly rate. You will receive upscale residential craftsmanship at a fair and reasonable price. There is no hidden cost and the work is done right, making sure every aspect of the painting process is completed properly and to your satisfaction. Since I am a one-man business and I perform all the work start to finish, you will receive a high-level quality work for your money spent. Each job is billed according to work performed and materials needed. Only fair and competitive pricing is used.
Drywall cracks, leak damage, nail pops, seams, and loose corner bead can also repair. In repairing drywall damage all work areas are isolated if possible, (the dust is contained to the work area) to prevent contamination of other areas of your home. I use a setting type drywall compound for a base coat, which cures much harder than conventional drywall compound. Then consecutive layers of both setting and regular compound are applied. In the end, you will have a repair that blends in, and is virtually unnoticeable.
Most wall coverings manufactured in the last 25 years were designed for easy removal. If the walls were prepared correctly before the installation, the wallpaper can usually be removed relatively easily. The more difficult jobs involve removing multiple layers, products manufactured more than 25 years ago, and wallpaper that was installed directly over new sheetrock with the wrong primer or no primer used. As a last resort, the more difficult removals can be avoided by priming over the existing wallpaper with an oil-based primer. Seems and bubbles can then be cut out and floated over with drywall compounds, sanded, and then primed, to reveal a fresh surface. If you are considering a faux finish, one of the nice things about that is, when you want to change the wall color, there is no removing of any wallpaper. All you have to do is sand the finish, and then paint.
